Firmware download failing

I've been experiencing some issues with my Huawei K4505 USB stick and found some similar problems documented. The recommendation is to update the firmware. The link for the firmware http://uploads.vodafone-ets.co.uk/Public/vmc/Firmware/K4505/K4505Update_11.828.03.00.11.B427.exe. always times out. Is there a problem with the server or is there somewhere else that I should be getting it from ?

I've now successfully downloaded the firmware upgrade file 🙂

Now to see if it fixes the problem with my K4505.

Hi there,

the issue with the link is still there and I wonder if there is any other way to obtain the software upgrade.

In all honesty I have raised this issue for months with customer service and nothing has changed which makes me a bit unhappy that even on the forum the resolution seems to be "wait and see".
