Firmware for k3565

a friend unlocked my vodafone k3565 modem with some software (mobile Partner). i don't like the new software (firmware) so i want to get the original vodafone firmware for my device back.......... can somebody please help me........... thank you.

thank you............. but the that only installs the software on the pc and does not re flush the modem........... the firmware is still mobile partner

Unfortunately this is the reason why we advice against this sort of thing.

As the warranty has now been voided, we cannot flash this device for you via our repair center.

I've just spoken to our device specialist who is looking to see if we have this available for you or not, I suspect not but its worth a try for you.

Hi ericz

One thing you could do is switch of the mass storage ability of your modem to prevent this software loading, this would mean installing the full version of VMC before plugging in the modem.

• Ensure Vodafone Mobile Connect isn't running and that the device is connected.
• Download the Portswitch Utility from this link.
• Extract the files and run the "PortSwitchTool.exe"
• Click "CDRom to Diag" to disable the storage components on the device (this is fully reversable if required to re-enable in the future)
• Unplug and reconnect the device.

thank you for replying .................... i just downloaded the 'TOOL-PortSwitch' i've ran it so now the software doesn't load


please help me get the vodafone firmware
