Forbidden 403

My mobile dongle was working fine until yesterday, and now I am getting a Forbidden 403 error every time I try to get the internet. I have tried the dongle in different locations to no effect. The really crazy thing is that I can get emails sent and received, yet no internet.

 

As I say, I have tried in locations miles apart. I have tried with Firewall disabled. I have also been able to browse using the same browser settings but with a different mobile connection.

Many thanks for your post and welcome to the Vodafone eForum from all of the team.

 

I must admit that this is a bit of a strange one especially since you were using it the day before it when faulty.

 

So we can look at this for you please can you confirm the following;

 

Is the issue only affecting certain sites or all?

 

Is the modem contract or PAYG?

 

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the modem?

 

Are you picking up 3G signal on the connection dashboard?

 

If you place the SIM from the Dongle in a phone, do you get the same issue?

 

Once we have these details we will then be able to advise you further.
