Re Posted VERY Slow Speed with K3730 Dongle

As my post was part of somone else's problem, which is now marked as fixed/closed, I have re-posted it here.

I also bought a K3730 dongle used on Laptp USB2 and USB3

I have been unable to even reach the Top-Up page with it, even when it shows 3 bars signal.

 I have tried this morning to check the speed of the connection I get with the K3730 , but the link is so slow I can't load

http://www.broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk/ or http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/diagnostics to measure it. 

It has taken 18 mins to transfer 1.6Mb of the webpage, still not complete enough to do a test.

Post code TW15 1DF, but also tried from TW13 4PS - same.

Vodaphone software shows it is connected to HSUPA or 3G (flicks between the two).

Sometimes 3 bars, sometimes 1.

If I tether to my Nokia Phone 3g - then I get 0.2 Mb/s - slow but at least it works. All pretty rubbish really.

I bought the dongle to get a better service !

Vodaphone map shows postcode as "High Speed" area !
