GPRS

Have a strange problem I cant figure out which appears to be a network problem..

When only getting a GPRS connection I can only view https sites and not normal websites... on 3G connection both is fine..

Took me a while to figure out what was happening... any ideas ?

Should point out that I can ftp and use other protolcols on GPRS.. just not http on port 80
.. althought https is fine.

We suspect your symptoms are being caused by a known issue which is discussed in this thread.

We currently have this under investigation The Reference for this is: HD1510027 We will resolve this as soon as possible and will update with any responses to the above thread.

From what I can see from similar problems others have had.. and are continuing to have, this problems has been ongoing since at least the 15th of Feb 2010.

Doesent give me much confidence you can fix these network problems anytime soon.

Wonder how many others are pulling their hair out like I did thinking it was a PC problem... so come on .. how about a sticky at the top of the forum until you have it fixed ?

Thanks for post here. I must assure you that our engineers are working on this. As this will be affecting a number of customers it will be treated as a high priority and will be resolved as soon as possible.

I'll pass you comments on about the sticky idea and the possibility of added one
