Hey guys, can someone look into why GU27TH area is so slow on 4G even when my phone shows full bars!
i work in this area & I have to switch to 3G even to read a twit!
Im very close to a University so I'm guessing that's the problem. Too many others on the network.
Everyone I work with here are experiencing the same problem.
when I leave the area my 4G is very good.

There are a couple of legacy sites in that area due upgrade to 4G,. As a result the existing 4G server will be covering a substantially larger, busier, area than it could be.
I can confirm the 4G experience is pretty poor in the mean time though.

4G in Guildford is unbearably slow and oddly sometimes switching off 4g and connecting to 3G provides a better service.
Equivalent EE data speeds are lighting fast in comparison.
Time to get onto this, Guildford is a heavily populated area that needs better Vodafone data speeds ASAP

I've attached a screenshot montage from the main Guildford town centre serving site that speaks for itself:
4G: 0.23mbps
3G (2100MHz): 9.8mbps
3G (900): 2.2mbps.

Hi @lampardmatt, we're always working hard to improve our coverage.
Please keep an eye on our network status checker to check for any future upgrades in your area.
