Galaxy Note 7 Pre-Order issues

Hi all 

First post here! trying to find out more about my Note 7 Pre-order as ive not heard anything since the initial order.

Has anyone had confirmation they will be getting it on the 30/8?

Tried chat and 191 both saying different things as is in store. Also the tracking is not working yet because it is a pre-order.

I know there are some supply issues but I will need to amend delivery address if im not getting it on the tuesday and obviously dont have much time to change anything.

any help would be appricated.

It has most definitely been delayed here in the UK due to the battery issue.  Please take a look at this statement from Vodafone.  It very clearly states that the S7 Note has been delayed here in the UK due to the battery issues.

Apprently on sky news Samsung has said it's going to take 2 weeks to sort by then we could all have new iPhone 7 plus!

Not alot different from the 6s Plus though other thean the roumoured dual camera.

Oh and expect the phone to be around £1000 offline I think as well judging by reports.

also screen and camera are way better on my note 7 compared with my 6s plus and my iphone 6.

I'm the same I'm upgrading from a 6s plus never thought I would see the day I moved to Samsung but they are miles ahead on innovative. Yes not many big changes by the looks of it although could be some surprises.

The entire idea behind pre-ordering the NOTE 7 is to get the device early. After weeks of waiting for delivery i get a message saying i won't happen. Samsung is fund of pushing back dates. I mean they have had a whole year to work on the device. I am very disappointed with samsung.

@wutash. That's the problem with wanting everything the minute it hits the market. There will alwAys be bugs to sort out.
Much better to not be one of the "I must have first" brigade

I think that is unfair, it's not the consumers fault that there is an inherent assumption you are buying a first class product from day one. The price for one thing is similar if not more than alot of electronic devices out there.

Samsung have come unstuck and obviously rushed this to market ahead of its main rival. They will take a short term and expensive hit but nothing that they won't recover from. But it should and does fustrate customers if with all the hype and marketing you and up waiting alot longer than promised.

As people say I'm now firmly looking at the iPhone 7 plus.

Called vodafone. Most up to date news from vodafone is that samsung send them an email in which they say note 7 is pushed back until middle of october and thats when im going to get it.... disappointed. ...

Mine will be getting cancelled if it's mid October
My current contract with 3 runs out on the 17th September
So won't be without a phone in between
I've had notes 1 2 and 3 but fell out with it when the note 4 was released
Been a nexus 6 user since and other than dropping it and cracking the screen I would have another tomorrow but thought I'd try the note again
Maybe time not to......
