Galaxy S6 Not Receiving texts

I'm having a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S6 randomly not receiving texts.

It happens every so often that i don't receive messages and the first i know about it is a frustrated phone call from the wife wondering why i'm ignoring her.

I reboot the phone and it seems to work fine for a while and then i get the same issue again.

Is anyone out there able to advise me on the problem and how to resolve it?

This could be the SIM card failing @tjbantam

As a process of elimination can you test your SIM card in another phone and another sim card in your phone. 

Does this happen everywhere ?

A Vodafone Highstreet Store can replace the SIM card if deemed necessary via a Sim Swap.

I'm unable to test the sim in another phone as i do not have one i can do this with.

The issue presumably happens everywhere (i've only noticed it at work and at home, but they are the places where i spend most of my time!)

Dunno if it's connected but the bleeding thing has begun to reboot itself every so often too.

I think a visit to a high street store may be in order?

@tjbantam In this instance, I definitely think a visit to your local Vodafone store is best. They'll be able to run a diagnostic on your phone, try an alternative SIM and investigate what the problem may be 😊
