Hi.
I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S8 in a retail store. I had seen online about the Gear VR offer (£70 off) and when I went into the store, I asked about this. The advisor looked it up on the system, and said that I would recieve either a text or an email 24hrs later to tell me how I take advantage of the offer and order the device.
This was over 3 weeks ago, and I've not had anything sent. I've tried speaking to webchat advisors regarding this, but they seem to have no idea what I'm talking about.
This was a factor in me choosing this device, so I would appreciate it if someone could investigate this matter and get back to me.

I’ll have a dig around but I believe the Vr needed to be ordered at the same time on taking out the phone.

Well if that is the case, that was not what I was told by the agent in-store. I've been waiting for the message I was told I would recieve. She said that they didn't have them in-store.

Ok so ordering online it has to be added to the basket. I appreciate you ordered in the store.

It maybe beneficial to pop back to the shop and ask the employees or manager for support regarding the offer.

Yes, I'd come across that thread and read through it. Cheers for pointing it out.
I even printed the screen off that said about the VR Offer which I took into the store.
Hopefully someone from the Social Media Team might be able to assist?

I think it would be beneficial to pop back to the store and speak with the employees or manager for support.
