Hi people Sorry for this one but it's only easy if ya know theI don't want you thinking I only phoned you for money that's why your getting it back.it's a principle thing now more than the money and also in case I fall in ##~## again.I can't keep asking for help when I don't return the favour.I really wish you could put my head on for 10 minutes as well as finding out what you really mean you will also hear the wars that go on with my self.I love everyone in the family even Wayne but no one comes close to you.but words are just wordsanswer and I'm unsure
when I record videos and they show up in Google photos have they already been uploaded or do I have to upload once they are there?
Also say for example I record the video and then I press details before I have gone to (Google photos) and it says the date and all that stuff as well as file size like 100mb does that mean I have to use 100mb to save it cos if I go into photos straight after recording it's already there so that's what confused me

Google Photos is an Online "cloud" storage service, it stores your Photos and videos without using any of your google drive space.
What will be used is your Mobile Phone Data allowence to upload it to the "Cloud service". So it is always best to be connected to Wifi so that your mobile allowence is not used up by large video files etc...
I hope that makes sense?

The Google photos app will show content that's on your phone as well as what's been uploaded so it is possible to see things that haven;t been sync'd yet. It's worth going into the app's settings to check what syncs and how it does it. I have it set to wifi only to keep mobile data usage down. You'll also find an option to select the folders to back up and one for whether to include videos or not. If a new folder is created, you should get a notification offering to sync it and you can choose whether or not to at that point. It's handy as you probably don't want content from other apps in your Google photos, for instance, but would want you camera shots.
To get "free" storage (that dooesn't eat into your Google allowance), make sure that you have "high quality" and not "original resolution" selected, too. If you have any original res shots there, there's an option to convert them - I can't remember exactly where it is as it's a while since I had to use it, but it was reasonably obvious when I did.
