HELP NO WIFI

just been given info that you can use cafe's and other big names to use wifi as I don't have it and don't know any one nearby can you download big files (like a nougat update) The new buses were I live have just installed wifi and a charging port but when I went to use it my phone light's up like a Xmas tree WARNING so I bottled it I know you have to be carefull

Yes you can download files. 

As I mentioned to you I sometimes update my apps this way too. 

What you may find is that it's a slow connection. 

Just don't use free WiFi for sensitive stuff like banking apps.
