Even if they ranged it, the chances of Vodafone rolling out Wi Fi calling for an HTC phone is zero. Don't let that factor into your thinking.

ok thanks for clearing that up. basicly its cpw and dont get all the benifits & features or another network then. i must say im very dissaponted in voda to not stock it. it seems easy to blame poor sales of pevious htc models but surly other networks have had the same issues yet they have all decided to give it a go.

It isn't easy to blame poor sales - it has to be the cause as there is no other reason why Vodafone has taken this decision. How they have arrived at a decision that is different to the other networks is impossible to say, but Vodafone has an international group element to it that the other networks don't. We'll never know.

I agree with you - I don't understand it either from a consumer perspective.
But from a business point of view I do understand it. Why invest the scare resource of money in:
and probably loads of other things
for a product that is likely to sell a few thousands units??
The business probably considers that the money is better spend on the products that sell well, especially Apple and Samsung products.

Which is something I really wish they didn't. My M8 was riddled with crap from Vodafone that couldn't be deleted.

Another reason to buy sim free or get an iPhone.

Anything's possible but Vodafone doesn't usually make announcements that it doesn't intend to stock a particular handset, it just says nothing. I'd be surprised if they change their mind anytime soon but if there is enough pent up or potential demand they might just do that.
