HTC A9 freezing completly

I bought my HTC phone in April and it has worked perfectly up until know.

I have been using my phone throughout the day and it has suddenly deicded to freeze completly and won't alter the screen when touched or when attempted to charge and is fixed on an end of call screen. I have tried restarting the phone but it is still unresponsive to that. Am I missing a magical way to restart like iphones???

The phone is also at 71% battery so that is not the issue.

As a soft reboot isn't working and I assume your on the latest firmware then I'd suggest to create a back up of your information in the phones memory ,and perform a factory reset via the settings in the phone. 

If that does not remedy the issue then if the phone was acquired via Vodafone you could ask them to send it off.

However I'd first try speaking with Htc Uk support first.
