Hi, arrived in Sweden, my s3 can't find a network. Any ideas? Telenor is not on the list

As above, my phone automatically went to Telenor last time I was here. This time I didn't receive a text message and none of the networks I manually select are working. Available are: Sweden Mobile, SWEDEN, Sweden 3g, 3 SE & TELIA S.

Hi GeorgeDrewitt,

It’s very strange that your phone isn't working and that you've not received a welcome text. I’ve checked for you and Telenor is still showing as a roaming partner in Sweden.

The next thing would be to check that International Roaming is enabled on your account. You can check this through your My Vodafone and if it isn’t, you can apply for it to be added.

Yes. The connection type will indeed depend on coverage.  There's probably a coverage map on the network's website.
