How Unlock an Iphone from Spain??

Hello.

I write you from Spain.

My Network in Spain is Vodafone Spain.

I`ve bought by Internet from Spain a new Iphone locked to UK Vodafone because in Vodafone Spain told me the phone will be compatible in Spain.

Now, I can´t use the phone. It ask me a compatible SIM card.

I^m back to talk with Vodafone Spain and another operator

tell me that UK Vodafone and Vodafone Spain are different companies.

According to them, I`ve to ask to phone seller ask you unlock the phone, bet it^s very difficult.

Is there anyway to unlock the phone for I can use the phone here in Spain???

You've been given the right information. 

The two Vodafone networks are not linked so one can't help the other in regards to unlocking and one would not accept the others sim card in a locked iPhone. 

To unlock it from the Vodafone UK Network it has to have been used on the network for 30 days on payg making calls, sending texts and using data. 

Are you able to ask the original owner to request it's unlock?

Other than that you'd need to send it to someone you know in the UK and they use it for 30 days on a Payg sim card and they request a the unlock. Weighing up the shipping costs. 

Alternatively you could sell it and buy another that will work with your sim card.
