IPHONE 7 PLUS PREORDER ISSUES

Hello,

I've ordered an Iphone 7 Plus 32GB (black) on the 9th Sep.

I have been in contact with vodafone on a number of ocassions and have been told I will receive the Iphone on the 16th. Today I said had received no notification, and the operator said I should receive it in the next 2-4 hours. I have received nothing.

Also I just checked my order number (EDM-0000000087695921). Before it said IPHONE 7 PLUS 32GB BLACK, which is correct. Now it suddenly says IPHONE 5 16GB, which is has clearly been discontinued and not correct. So what is going on?

I have been with vodafone for 16 years but not having a great time with communication and the sudden change on Iphone through the order number is concerning.

If any correct info could come my way then great. Not confident with vodafone at the moment.

Anthony

STOP THE PRESS. JUST SPOKEN TO AN ONLINE ADVISOR:

"Maximum is 2-3 weeks, moreover we will waive off line rental you are unable to receive the device."

I AM SO HAPPY!! They are going to refund me money i am paying for a service i am not recieving! What a generous offer..........

You couldn't make this up.......:manmad:

Actually i have just negotiated with the online advisor and he's applied a 25% discount to my line rental. Pretty happy with that.

If getting a phone on launch day is that important people should really be camping outside Apple stores,

Which is a silly comment. If Vodafone had told me when I'd ordered it would be into October - fine. If they'd told that yesterday - fine. But so far they've told me nothing - nothing believeable in any case.

I have just cancelled with vodafone. Yesturday I was told that I would received the phone on the 16th. Now I am being told it will be 6-8 weeks.

Bye vodafone.

Cancelling an order will just put you to the back of the queue, depending on the model all the networks are quoting up to 6 weeks for new orders, even Apple are saying November for some models

Cancelling on prinical is also something you can do. Maybe it'll hurt you but it'll also hurt Vodafone as it's another customer lost.

There's a lot of people in this thread who have been lied to, including myself.

What I have done is change it to a sim only deal. Paying less than half and got twice the data. Also could upgrade it to a new Iphone in 3 months, when it'll be eaiser to get the phone.

But in all honesty will wait a year and get the 10th anniversary iphone, which apprently will have lots of bells and whistles.

Not gonna happen.

Apple doesn't give a crap about nostaloga, for example they were 40 years old this year. Did you see any sort of celebrations?
