Hi,
I have recently replaced my sure signal with a V3. It has connected, the red light and the first 2 lights are solid but my registered phones won't pick up a solid signal. Mine will sometimes show full 3g but won't make a call or browse the net. When you try the signal just drops back to GPRS.
Not sure what to try.

If you've replaced your Sure Signal you would need to re-register all the phones you'd like to connect to your service.
If you've done this and it doesnt resolve your issue, please follow the steps in our Sure Signal troubleshooting guide and post the results on the appropriate thread.
If you’re not directed to an existing thread, please post your results below.
Thanks.

Online it said that the numbers were registered to the SS. I have tried the reset and will keep an eye on it until it completes the reset.
thanks

Hi,
The reset sorted the problem. Now get 4/5 bars around the house on both phones.
Many thanks

Hi Tim
Slightly off topic, what was the reasons for replacement of your SureSignal?
If it failed then you should claim a refund if you did not receive one for free and was caused by a known issue.
Take a look at http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Suresignal-V3-Overheated-Blew-Up-Exploded-Hot-Bu...

Hi,
it it was a version 1 that I had had for 5 years and it just stopped connecting to anything.
the new one is no better. Just stop getting 3G on the phones for no reason. Then won't connect back to them when all the lights on it say it is connecting ok.
If if smartphones weren't so rubbish holding a signal it would be OK.

I tried the troubleshooting which wasn't much use. It just said to do a live chat which i did. I was told they had done something to my account and wait for 6 hours to unplug the SS then plug it back in. I did this but it has made no difference. The box still doesn't send a 3g signal to the handsets.
