Please can you make sure that both the Data roaming and EU internet has been selected.
This is a new setting that has been added to the new IOS 8.

hi. i had same problem. go to: settings/cellular/cellular data network
then check the cellular data settings - they should be :
APN wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username wap
password wap
then come back to settings/cellular and make sure you have the following:
Cellular Data ON
Enable 4G ON (if its in your contact)
Data Roaming ON
EU Internet OFF
then come out of settings and switch off your phone for 3 minutes and restart.
