Thanks, I just spent 2.5 hours at the Vodafone store talking with technical support (using their phone bc I don´t have a vodafone phone) and I still have no luck fixing the error
They´ve basically told me it´s a problem with my computer and to go to a computer store to fix it.
I uninstalled everything and I will figure out how to clean out the registry but I don´t have a CD. I was only given a modem and the software is inside the modem. In fact, I have a netbook that doesn´t even have a CD drive
That´s why I tried to download the vmc software from the website, which i tried with both the modem connected and disconnected.
We also tried connecting the modem to a computer inside Vodafone and it worked there even though a bubble keeps popping up when you plug it in saying ¨there is a problem with your hardware. new hardware might not function properly.¨ (or something like that)
I haven´t received an email but also I have a Vodafone ES account not a Vodafone Uk account. And there doesn´t seem to be any technical support in English which is a whole other story. However, I have talked to now three different vodafone operators and none of them have been able to help.
