Recieved my Vodafone K3770-Z dongle today, only to find out it's being recognized as a composite device in device manager. Nothing appears in My Computer, or anywhere else for that matter. The software doesn't auto-install as a result. No light on the dongle either.
I've tried installing VMB manually, which installs the relevant drivers, but the dongle is still being recognized as a composite device, and not a modem. I've tried reinstalling drivers, updating, restarting etc numerous times with no luck. Running Windows 7 64-bit
Anything else I can try?
Thanks

Actually there is a check.
If the LED on the modem does not light up, service .
If yes, uninstall the drivers in Device Manager (right click + Uninstall):
- Modems
- Universal Serial Bus Controllers - here you have a " Mass Storage Device " and "Compozite device"
Restart PC and connect the modem in another USB port.
If not working, service.
Also, you might want to update your Vodafone Mobile Broadband app from 10.2.302 to 10.3.203. You can download it for
Microsoft Windows | 10.3.203 |
