Can Vodaphone tell us when a driver will be available for the Vodaphone K4201-z broadband dongle for the new Apple OS Yosemite on a macbook pro.
Thanks
Andy

Vodafone has completely upset the mac users. We have business which has been affected for weeks. Each time a vodafone specialist answers, he/she disappoints us.I think the best reaction to your completely non-caring and indifference is to switch to another carrier provider...

I'm checking every week in order to see any updates about this problem however this is ridiculous that there is still NO solutions. Vodafone Turkey told us that there would be an update in december. Still no answers.
Vodafone must tell its customers when this update will be available at least !
Thanks

I'm still getting email alerts when someone posts to this thread but for me, it is too late for Vodafone to update this software as I've moved to another provider.

I have to say the responses from Vodafone are disappointing at best and patronising in general. This has been an issue for months now having read this thread. Sadly I wish I had read it before purchasing a Vodafone mobile broadband dongle.
The comments from @drey_p are also patronising and I do hope unrepresentative of the others here. Posts suggesting this issue is our fault for making sure the OS on our devices is patched and up to date are unhelpful, echoing the party line of "just keep checking to see when we release a fix....if we ever do" serves to do nothing other than anger other users. Hardly what I would call the actions of a community champion in a forum.
I would point out that if an issue is known about, then advertising that fault is good practice and that the support page for software should indicate if a verson of an OS is unsupported. That is what the reliable software suppliers tend to do, how does saying "it doesn't say it does work either" help anyone?
I do have one question, as the high street retailer I purchased the device from does not accept returns and as this device would work with other platforms but does not support the current version of the Mac operating system but Vodafone did mnot make this clear in their advertising, how do I now return it as being unfit for purpose?

Stating best practise isn't patronising and I am sorry you choose to interpret it that way. If I upgrade my laptop for a newer version of Windows, the first thing I do is check that my devices are going to work with the version I am upgrading to. That is because I know that there is a possibility that my existing hardware may not work with the new version.

I'm afraid that until Vodafone release the update, there is nothing further that anyone can say other than what you deem to be "the party line". It doesn't mean that what we say is incorrect.

And that isn't patronising? Community Champions earn that status because of an in depth knowledge of Vodafone's products and services. Stating what is a fact is actually helpful, even if it is something that someone doesn't want to hear.

It does by not listing it as one of the supported variants!

You will need to contact the retailer in question and see if they will be prepared to accept a return. Unfortunately, the contract of sale is between you and the retailer so Vodafone won't be able to intervene on this issue.
