hi, i have tried almost everything that has been said in this forum but still cant seem to get my dongle to install, as it still rolls back install, i have tried reboot, msconfig etc.

I went into control - add remove program. Then rebooted computer just as advised. Still no luck with installing VMC-Lite. Software rolls back action on finalising starting services.

I tried downloading V9.4.4 & got the same result - rolling back action and uninstalling itself again.

Can somone please help me as i need the internet asap.

Hi mizba82lhet82,

Have you checked to see if there are any instances of Vodafone Mobile Broadband (VMB) already installed on your pc? This may be why you’re getting a rollback issue. Can you make sure that there’s no trace of VMB showing on your pc and then try installing the latest full version (10.3.210) from our Global Technical Support Site. You can find the download link here.

Let me know how you go on.

Thanks

Andrew

Hi,

As mentioned in the previous post, upgrading to the latest version of Vodafone Mobile Broadband should help, but if you currently have no internet access you could try:

- Check that the file vbscript.dll exists in the %SystemRoot%\system32\ directory.
- If it is, open a command prompt and type "regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\vbscript.dll" (without the "")
- If the vbscript.dll is not found in the system32 directoy, it has to be copied from the operating system install CD/DVD, and you have to complete the step that mentions the command prompt above.

Once you've done the above you should be able to install the version of Vodafone Mobile Connect that you have.

I hope that helps
