Kindle Fire - connectivity

I have recently bought a kindle fire. I went throught the process to where i got an email with connection details. I've downloaded the vodaphone mobile broadband app on my laptop but it says it can't find a sim. I have tried to register to vodaphone it says sorry there is a problem. How do I connect? The £25 starter pack moey has been taken so its not that part that is the problem.

Is it a Pay as you go SIM? If so, you'll need to register it by calling 17298. 

If it's Pay monthly, Live help can arrange this for you.
