1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?
Can't test this as I only have one phone but I know others are having the same problem

@fortyniner I can see your local serving site (1070) was experiencing a fault, however this was resolved on the evening of 4 August 2017.
