LONDON WIFI - NEXUS 6P - UNABLE TO CONNECT.

Edoardo2015
4: Newbie

I give up asking to the vodafone staff for help.

I really don't understand why have a call center, an online helpline chat when none of the two have a clue of of customer queries.

I've an Nexus 6P and I can't connect to the Vodafone London Wifi.

- Yes, I use my own log-in username/passwords to connect

- No, it does not connect automatically

Before I did upgrade to Nexus 6P I had an HTC one m7 and it was perfectly ok.

Is there another Nexus 6P user having my same issue?

Thank you,

@Edoardo2015 – I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems with this.

Please follow these steps when trying to connect:

  • Make sure your device’s Wi-Fi is switched on when you’re in a London Underground station with Wi-Fi available
  • In your Wi-Fi settings, choose ‘Virgin Media WiFi’
  • Hit the browser button which will take you to the portal, then choose the Vodafone icon
  • On the Vodafone registration page, enter your My Vodafone username and password
  • Refresh your browser – and off you go

It’s also worth checking that you’re at a station that has Virgin Media WiFi.

IT IS NOT WORKING!!!

I really wish you "tech" guys would actually based in London. You don't have a clue, you just type a textbook reply.

Have you actually spent couple minutes (not too much) to read at all the forum's complaints? If you did, you would have found out that your "textbook" does not work!

LMAO. I ony joined Vodaphone 2 weeks ago and ive spent the entire 2 weeks talking to their pathetic customer services team who have no idea what customer service is. There's definitely a reason why they have been voted the WORST service provider in the UK (google it guys - ITV even ran a story on their millions of errors to millions of customers)

Re. the above post - i too have the same issue. been having it since i joined and no one has any idea what the issue is. when i call i get the same copy paste reply that was provided above, and  have been told three times IT is fixing it and it will be resolved in 3 days. I give up. The staff (both in india and elsewhere) have no idea what theyre doing, and its time i accept now that I am stuck on this network, i'll have to deal with substandard service until i can get out of my contract. Guys if you have another network provider and are thinking of moving to vodaphone STAY WHERE YOU ARE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Hello @cloudi7

I understand your frustration. Please complete the steps on our troubleshooting guide - are you still unable to connect?

What have our team on 191 said about this, have they said this is a known issue?
