Previously I had a good network signal at home on my Motorola G4 - but in the last few weeks the signal keeps dropping out and fluctuating. I have phoned Vodafone support a number of times and they keep telling me to remove the battery & SIM card and reselect their network - but this makes no difference. Recently one of the transmitter masts in nearby Millbrook was flagged as faulty on the Network Status page but Vodafone have informed me that this has now been fixed. As my wife's mobile (which is actually a Vodafone model) is having the same problem I am convinced that it is a transmitter that is working at lower power. I thought I would ask if anyone else is having the same problem at home in Cranfield on the community website. This produced nine reports of the same problem from other residents in the village. All had tried to get help or information from Vodafone support and were unhappy with the service they received. Some have reverted to using 2G and some have changed to another company.

Answers to template questions:-

1) Poor or variable signal at home or in some parts of our village. The strength indicator(s) on the phone continually change between no signal, low or medium.

2) My full postcode is on my profile

3) The issue is not particular to one phone.

4) The problem is no connection, breaking-up or complete cutout during a call

5) My phone has automatic switching between 2G, 3G or 4G. The wife's phone is 2/3G.

6) A few weeks ago

7) The issue is permanent. Sometimes the signal is sufficient but not reliable.
