This is a joke!!! I've got the exact same issue with MMS and also do not have 3G and quite frankly don't have time to do a backup/restore!
Do these software updates not go through some kind of QA testing process!?
Vodfone should pull their fingers out and work on providing a release that rectifies these bugs caused by 4.4.2! This is the very last time I update my software, and will be leaving Vodafone because of this!
