Merge calls/conference calls

I want to use the merge call feature on ios7. When I have two calls going and one on hold I tap merge calls but it briefly says "name1 & name2" and then quickly switches back to putting one of them on hold. Really annoying. I pay £38 a month for unlimited use so why is this not working?

Hi mate. All you have to do to call vodafone customer service and ask them to active your conference call service on your account.
It's should be no charge on red plan .
The reason is not working for you at the moment coz it's no active on your account .

Hi Dave. Conference call not definitely be active by Default coz I got to active my Conference call by the method I posted above also I already post the above method few months ago when someone else got the same problem unable to use Conference call.
