Mobile Broadband - Approaching 3G Volume Limit

R_Baldock
Not applicable
I've recently gotten this message every time I connect - it seems to say I have a limit of 5gb a month on Pay-as-you-go Mobile Broadband, and that I'm approaching the limit (with like 200mb left or something). Am I missing something here (like a fair usage policy, which I couldn't find on the help part of the site)? I'm using VMC Lite version 9.4.4.17702 so unlike what the help files tell me, I have no way to look at my usage as it tells me to go to my online account rather than give me the old sorts of things that previous versions of the software did.

Hi R Baldock and welcome to the Vodafone eForum. :)

The message you are getting is from the VMC software not the network. You can set your monthly allocation, via a usage meter, and it tracks it for you, and warns if you are approaching the set limit. It has no bearing on your account and is there for indication only.

There's no fair usage policy in place, as you are already prepaying for all the data you use.

I trust this clarifies matters for you.
