Mobile Broadband - Connected but wont launch internet browser!

My mobile broadband connects fine with a poor or very poor signal 3G (which is quite normal and I'm not complaining about that).

I can check my balance OK using the link provided - that works fine.

BUT neither Firefox nor Internet Explorer can connect to the internet - it just comes up with "server not found". The problem started yesterday morning, then it worked fine last night and this morning it's stopped working again. I haven't altered my laptop in any way. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Vodafone Connect Lite software, to no avail. I'm using a K365 dongle. Any advice would be very gratefully received.

Hi there Jackysmith,

Strange one indeed.... just one thing that I need you to try before moving on, can you try the same thing but on the full fat VMC software from our business section?

It's version 9.4.6

Give this version a go and let me know if the error persists.

I couldn't get to a working internet connection for a couple of days to download that version, while the problem persisted. Then, for no apparent reason, it all started working again. So thanks for the suggestion, but not necessary. Part of me would still really like to understand what was going on, but the pragmatic side of me overrules and is just grateful it's working now!
