Mobile Broadband - My data allowance does not seem to be high enough!

I have a contract for mobile broadband that ends this november. My useage for this month is confusing cos i think it might be charging me but i cant tell.

3G is almost 800MB and GPRS is almost 100mb. But the limit goes so quick that I cant use the internet and its not fair that its going through so fast. I heard from my parents that the dongle charges for EVERYTHING that goes through and constantly downloads which reach its limit so quick. Is this true? I have rang and told vodafone twice and nothing has been sorted and the service is getting ridiculous. What can i do to stop my dongle being expensive as I do spend a lot of time online.

Also as a side note, i am on Vodafone online for my billing but i have to complete my registration and when I enter my PIN, it says its not registered which is annoying me cos I cant check my bills

The easiest way for you to monitor your data use is by using the online billing service so it is important that we get this up and running for you. It sounds like there may have been an error with the account when you were registering but don’t worry. I am sure we will be able to get this resolved for you. I am going to send you a mail requesting some further information which will allow me to access your online registration and correct the issue for you. Just reply with the required information and I will get started.
