Mobile Broadband No Signal Although Online Says Excellent Signal?

I only bought it today and they said its on e if the best for connection, and on the connecion checker it says for today excellent inside and outside. But its not getting anything. it worked earlier when I was at a friends house 20 minutes away, and a t-mobile one works fine which is what im on. its 18 months Im not paying any bills when its not got signal???

Welcome to the eForum There must be something amiss here! I've just had a look at the postcode on your profile (I'm assuming you're right by the reservoir?) and you do have excellent 2G coverage there and good 3G coverage. So I would expect no problems at all.

Which phone did you go for and where did you get it from? What signal are you getting at the moment, is it saying 3G? It might be worth changing the settings and setting to it to 2G if that is the case just to run a few tests. Also, if you have an old phone trying putting your Vodafone SIM into it and testing the signal again. This will help rule out whether there is a fault either with the SIM or the phone too.

Keep me posted and if you're not sure how to change the settings give me a shout with the make and model and I'll be more than happy to lend a hand We will get to the bottom of this.
