Hi Angus61,
A very warm welcome to the Vodafone eForum from all of the team.
To be honest its hard to say here, the first thing to try would be to completely remove all of the VMC (Vodafone Mobile Connect) software from the PC manually, then install the device again from scratch.
Also have you tried a different USB Posrt?
Do you get the same error?
Once you have done this please let me know if you are still having any issues and what error messages you get.
