My Vodaphone app uk not working

3 days ago the app showed last months data then immediately told me there were technical issues. I've deleted the app & reloaded & still tells me to try later as there are technical issues. I chatted with Vodaphone team today & was told they've reset my account & should be ok if I log in online & then download. I logged in but the only way to load the app is to go to Apple App Store so did that again. Still no joy (iPhone 7 10.3.3). How else can I monitor my data usage as I have to monitor it quite carefully?

When a person deletes the app from their iPhone it just removes the app from your phone but leaves it in iCloud and iTunes.

Can you log into iTunes from a computer and look for your apps section and delete the app from there too.

A good way of finding out if it’s something to do with the phone is to insert your sim in another phone and download myVodafone onto it and see if it works.

A goid way albeit longwinded is to restore the iPhone via iTunes after backing up to iCloud and when resetting up the iPhone is to choose to set it up as a new iPhone and not from your back up and then download a fresh copy of myVodafone from the App Store. If it works then it’s something to do with your back up.

To monitor data the iPhone has a built in data monitor which needs resetting after each monthly tariff data allowance.

There could also be apps in the App Store too but I’d go with the built in option.
