I am in the same boat.

I lost my iPhone 4 on the 30th December, got an early upgrade to the iPhone 6 on the 2nd January. Vodafone transferred the same number to the phone just with a new sim card. I cannot get a signal at all, and under Settings > General > About > Network (says Not Available) and sometimes it has an arrow next to it saying "Sim not Provisioned."

It's been 96 hours like this and already had payment been deducted despite not being able to use it. The bar was lifted on the phone number (as it was lost). CS say the sim is active and fine, but I don't know what else to do. :smileymad:

I was told that there is fault at Vodafone which the engineers are trying to resolve as quickly as possible, but couldn't give me a timeline. So we could still be chatting this time next year!

I was told that I would be eligible for compensation, but once again they couldn't tell me how much it would be (per day). So quite poor customer service!

Take a look here for how to get in touch with our Live help team so we can get this sorted.

Thanks,

Hi Jenny,

All is at last well. Thank you.
The sim was activated at the backend of last week and the helpful guys in the Alton store swapped all my contacts and photos from my old to new phone.
