In the future it will be difficult to know if a second hand Note 7 is a safe recalled replacement or if it's from the original faulty batch?
According to Samsung Australia, replacement Note 7's should have some distinguishing marks...
On the retail box will appear a small black square by the bar code, also there will be a black letter "S".
But what if you don't have the original box?
Apparently the imei number will be on a Samsung data base that can be compared from its website.
This might be slightly different in each world wide region but good to know that Samsung have thought about the future...
