Order confirmation email

Hi,

I upgraded two numbers on my account today around 9am to the iphone 6 plus. I have received an order confirmation for the second number i upgraded but i havent yet received one for the number i upgraded about an half an hour before.

Is anyone able to assist in checking my order as i cannot access live chat.

Was finally able to place my order this morning at 9:21 (was trying since 8:01) and got the text and email stating my order went through. Tried again at 2:30 and about 20 min later I got my confirmation email. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will receive my phone on release day. My web order numbers are only 165 numbers apart. I'm not sure how the numbers are given out, but I hope only 164 orders were placed between that time. I would say it's doubtful, but with all the posts about peoples orders not going through, it could be possible.

Arrrrh the joys of loving Apple...did it go through, where in the queue am I. Now we get a week of anticipation about whether we will get our new shiny thing next Friday with rumours and counter rumours about what's happening. Then a day of twitching every time you hear an engine in the road...maybe this time it's the delivery van.

And the really good news is normally this only happens every couple of years when we can upgrade our phone shiny thing...but this time we get to do it all over again in a few months time for the watch shiny thing. 🙂

You guys have got me panicking now, I got up really early to pre-order and if it doesnt confirm i will be seriously annoyed as i could have ordered from Apple this morning. 
We shall see, i will phone them in the morning to see if they can re-send me the order confirmation as my account still shows my old price plan and has not been upgraded yet. 

 

I just hope that i didnt get the E-Mail because it was busy, but i havent got a single text or email. However i did phone to place the upgrade so its not like the website crashed and didnt accept the order.

What does the online order tracker say for your order? Has it passed the initial stage?

 

From past experience, whether you order instore, or via phone they still basically use the website (or at least an internal version of it) to place orders - hence the WEB-xxxx order numbers. Although there has been a couple of years where over the phone they've had to take orders via a manual system which then get entered into the pre-order system later on.
