Hello,
I recently upgraded my S5 to a S7 mobile, my sim has been swapped to the S7 and I still have my S5 which is locked to vodafone with no sim attached, is it possible to unlock the S5 at all, so I can possibly give to a family member on another network.
Was not sure how it works, as I am still with Vodafone and I am not needing the S7 unlocked atm.
Thank you.

You can complete the NUC form from the link on the right of this page to get an unlock code.
When completing the form use the details that were correct when you had a Vodafone account, it does not matter that you are no longer a Vodafone customer.

That's the bit that might give me problems, I am still a Vodafone customer on a pay monthly contract, but upgraded from the S5 to the S7.

@malk95 On reflection it may prove problematical to unlock it from outside of the UK, as the codes are not guarenteen to work off a UK network.
It is worth contacting NUC Resolutions though to clarify.

I appreciate the replies, I will just take it to a shady backstreet unlock shop
It wil be easy for them to do, thanks all
