Well that’s not right @SueT6

Are your pictures being saved on a Sd card or in the phones memory? If on the Sd card try changing the location to the phones memory to see if it’s a Sd card issue.

As a troubleshooting guide can you navigate to apps in your settings and find the camera app and clear it’s cache and data and force stop it.

You could try the same with your Gallery App.

Then relaunch it and try again.

It maybe beneficial to download another camera app from the Playstore and try that.

If that does not work then as a last resort create a back up of your information and then Factory Reset.

If that fails to help please come back to the forum and or visit a Vodafone Highstreet Store where they’ll take a look and if deemed necessary send it off to their repair centres for a diagnostic.

The phone will have a 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty but does not cover accidental drops or water damage issues.

Hi @SueT6

If you are saving your images to the SD card, it sounds like the SD card is failing and you need a replacement SD card.  Try changing the camera settings to save to the phone and see if it makes a difference, this will prove your SD card fault.

If you still have problems, remove the card and do a reset of the phone.

I slightly incline to this being a memory issue.  Try clearing recent apps and restarting the phone (ie turn it off and then on again, I don't mean a factory reset!)   All that is non-destructive, so safe to do.

if that solves the problem, it could be that the device is overloaded and clearing out files and apps you don't need will free up some space.

Thanks all think it was an SD card issue.
