CANNOT SEND PICTURES HAVE BEEN SENT TEXT BY VODAFONE 3 Times to say they will send new settings. Never happened, done it manually numerous times not worked. Any ideas please

Hi
is mobile data turned on in your phones settings as this is needed to allow MMS sending and receiving.
You may need to ask Customer Services to 'Re Provision' your account for MMS if your settings are correct.
The size of the file to be sent via MMS is also restricted and MMS is a chargeable service not covered in any text allowance.

Thanks for the reply. Yes mobile data is off and I do know I can send when it is on. However I also get charged £2 pet day to use it. My old phone just let me do it without the Internet on.

Did you have Wifi on instead to send MMS on your old phone.

MMS are sent through the internet. If you don't have mobile data turned on, it won't work.
You don't mention whether you are on PAYG or contract, you could do with an internet allowance for your MMS and browsing.

I am on payg just as I was with my old phone, that is what is puzzling me! Did not need internet before.

Certainly is a conundrum as MMS requires some form of Internet connection. It doesn't really use any data but needs to be turned on the phones Settings.
