Hi Dave,

 

I realised this morning (after talking to a work colleague) that the lacl of traceroute info is as a result of Macafee Host Intrusrion Protection on my laptop blocking incoming ICMP.  I will add a firewall rule to allow traffic for the relevant IP address and will repeat the test when i get home later this evening.

 

My SureSignal is not attached to a corporate network (and  neither was my laptop when at home) - it just uses bog standard BT Broadband and has done since beign installed in 2010

 

I'll post my traceroute results later on
