Well, I've been a customer of Vodafone for a while now and decided to upgrade. I was going to say that I've been a happy customer so far, but now that I think of it, Vodafone has provided really poor customer service.
I've only ever spoken to Vodafone twice, and both times were disappointing to say the least.
The main reason why i'm posting this is that I just upgraded because my old phone died. I told the chap that I found a deal at Carphone and could go and collect it. I wanted my PAC code. He managed to convince me to stay and promised to get me the phone the next day, along with a free VR headset. I decided to take a chance.
Well, the phone arrived the next day, but there was no sim card included. He said there would be. Now I'm stuck with my old sim card that doesn't fit, and my new phone which I can't use. Great!
Second issue was a while back during my last upgrade. I was given 4GB as part of the deal. It was only a few months later when they started texting me to say that I had used my allowance. I didn't think much as I had been using Spotify, but then my husband checked my account to find that they were only giving me my original 1GB allowance from my old contract. I spoke to someone and they sorted it, but I shouldn't have had to waste my time making that call.
Overall, as the missing SIM issue has caused me to remember the previous issue, I'm really disappointed with Vodafone. They don't seem to ever get it right when you need something.
