I host several game servers from home, i have forwarded all ports in my vodafone fiber router, yet the services are not accessible outside my home network. all services are allowed through my firewall and set up in the router. I have recently switched from sky to voda, nothing has changed on the server pc's, just the router and line. Anyone had any similar issues? Is there a fix for this? I'd hate to have to cancel my service and revert back to sky.

It seems that vodafone themselves block ports. Http (80) MYSQL (3306) type basic ports are allowed. But every game server type port i use is blocked by isp. Checked with canyouseeme.org. I'll henceforth be cancelling my vodafone contract and going back with sky

Ive spoke to live help, they told me they dont offer advice, have to phone up tech dept, apparantly theres a limit on ports and how many pc's you can distribute them to, i have 5 server machines hooked up to a 24 port gig switch, along with 3 normal pc's a ps3 a ps4 and an xbox 1, the last port on switch is wired to the voda router, so everything goes through the switch and then the router. This setup was fine with sky, phone call offered no real support or fixes. i even have to have the main server pc dmz'd, completely out of the routers firewall

Vextah that does not sound that bad.
I have two routers and so two lans and forward ports over both ok. So if vodafone had put some sort of limit in their router then what is to stop you forwarding to an internal router of your own and having as many forward from there as you like. So putting your good router in the DMZ of the voda router and having port forwarding setup on your good router 😉
Let me know if I can check anything out for you on my setup to make sure it is not just a config issue for you. My setup is kinda like below link with lan 1 being my vodafone box but my lan2 router (ASUS) I have put in the DMZ of voda router. So essentially all ports are exposed to ASUS router which I can then forward as I see fit.

Not sure if this helps but so far it works for me. If there is a specific port I can test for you on this let me knows.
