Purchased an iPad Air 2 cellular from USA and use a VF sim when back in the UK?

Hi

I am travelling to California next week and was thinking of purchasing an iPad Air 2 Cellular model and, want to use a UK Vodafone data SIM when I get back to the UK.

I'm not sure if this is possible - and if so, whether I need a specific model from the USA to make sure it is compatible with the UK Vodafone network.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

The iPad Air 2 is compatible on both our 3G frequencies (900/1800Mhz).
