R205 mifi

I've just bought an R205 PAYG to link to my iPad 2 wifi.

It won't connect.  The iPad can discover the mifi module but won't connect to it.

I've downloaded the app as per the instructions but that won't open because I am not connected.

i have tried turning off my main broadband router and forgetting it on iPad.  No joy.

i have tried restarting both devices.  No joy.

i am going away tomorrow and desperately need this to be working by then.  Please help.

Does the R205 show as connected with signal bars and 3G?

Do you have a laptop/desktop computer that you can run through the initial setup of the mifi, and get to it's configuration settings using the USB cable to see if everything is as expected, and maybe try turning the wifi passwords off, so it acts as an open system for your iPad to connect to.  If that works when open, re-apply all or some of the security and try again.
