I have had the R212 for a few months and have been impressed with speeds / connection. Have had almost all the Voda mifi devices and they have progressively got better in all ways.
I got hold of the R215 today and at first thought how much quicker the ping and speed was. But after using it in exactly the same manner and position at home for the past few hours as the 212, there seems to be a major issue with its range. If you are in the same room, speed is lightning. Move into the next room and it struggles to do anything. Is this a firmware issue (I had to update 212 to get it working properly) or is this device fundamentally flawed?
I use these devices as my sole broadband provider at home so it always stays in the lounge for the family to connect to. The R215 seems to be disappointing but am hoping there's a fix?
