RG25 - North Waltham

Once again we've had to open a fault call for Vodafone coverage off tower at RG25 2AR. Service has been dire since 6th January, several fault calls have been opened and closed without resolving the problems that started 6th January!

Fault call has been escalated once again to network services, sometimes Vodafone monitor and respond to postings on here. Maybe they'll start to call back customers for fix feedback rather than the blanket text we've fixed it and have to log again for escalation! I've worked in the IT industry for nearly 25years and appalled how they deal with customers. One even stated on the phone today I was sarcastic. Mate I haven't even started yet!!

Shame Vodafone can't provide anything better than this bland old message thats been up there for weeks now!!!

We're trying to fix a network issue which might be affecting calls coverage. It’s being worked on by our engineers. We'll update this page as soon as we know more

Raised for investigation! Does that mean we might start geeting some timescales or a fix?

Looking forward to a resolution soon on this one.

We've got a facebook group running in the village monitoring the outages and our individual contract dates. Those with contracts ending soon are getting real excited!

Any news on fix dates, I know Vodafone a reluctant to do that but got this text today....

Our engineers are still working on fixing the fault in RG252AR. We'll keep you updated with our progress.

Everything should now be up and running now. Can you let me know how you’re getting on?

@wayne

Unfortunately not yet! Called customer services at the weekend to be told it had been fixed on 18th! They have processed a refund for 3months loss of service and opened another fault log. Left with extended periods of no service and if it does work dropped calls, huge delays on text receipt. 3G service taking over a minute to load basic web pages. Can you see the new fault call and able to update me please?

@Dinning

So that we can look into this for you, get in touch with us by following the instructions in this private message.

Since July 2016 and for an extended period during 2015 part of North Waltham has had no or little signal. I've personally rung customer services 25 times since July 2016. A mast problem on site 1001 was identified during the Autumn and parts ordered on a slow boat from China, not kidding I was told that they'd been ordered from China but we're on Sea delivery so wouldn't be quick! Seriously

I've had every excuse possible given up to now. Service was restored for about 3 days then failed again. PROMISED dizens of times we will wscalate ans get back to you..... Customer services won't even talk to me now coz they've lost the password setup on the account.

VODAFONE IF YOU DO MONITOR THESE POSTS GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND GET IT SORTED!!!!

Hi @Dinning

They do monitor and read all threads.

This type of feedback is very important as it's having a direct effect on you and others in your area on the Vodafone Network.
