Hi @Muhammadijaz992

It's distressing in itself to first lose a phone which for most people holds lots of day to day used info etc.

So having insurance for some gives a feeling of security and recourse if a phone is lost or stolen.

Vodafone and their insurance team are in place to give a professional service and to resolve valid claims as fast as possible.

Each claim has to be fully investigated and validated befkre they resolve a claim because sadly people do abuse insurance cover and make insurance claims that they shouldn't.

I'm in No way questioning your claim or integrity.

Just pointing put what happens.

Most systems now recognise an incoming calls number so I'm not sure why the Call Handler asked for clarification as he saw your number as the incoming call.

That's something that would i assume have to be investigated as I'm pretty sure he will have logged all of this on your notes and insurance claim.

There is further info and advice on how to pursue your claim and complain on the following Vodafone Help Link.

04.10.2017: I lost my phone on train and when I called Vodafone later on to barred my number and phone.

i put claim that I lost my phone

07.10.2017: Investigation Handler called me and start make me feel like that I am lying whatever I wrote on claim form.He was making me confused nearly yelling and threatening me and making me feel like very soon police will come on my door steps for questioning that where I lost my phone

well over all it was totally inexperienced person name(LUKE)

He called and said that: you called us to block the number and you was calling from that same  number which you want us to barred. Which was totally lie.

Even I called to barred my number after 1 hour when I lost it.And I asked One stranger out on the road to use his phone to call my network provider to inform that I lost my phone and after Vodafone insurance handler requested me statement of the all outgoing calls from that strangers phone as a proof of call that I called Vodafone to barred my Vodafone number.

Which was so embarrassing to request from someone who you don't know.Well it was kind from that man I took his contact number that time and he said that no problem he will send me the statement.

and if I would not had this statement then case handler will not assess my claim.

0 out of 10 service from Vodafone case handlers or especially that guy Luke was best example among them

i think it was a big mistake to take the insurance £12 a month

totally unhappy and and I will not recommend it to anyone

thanks

It's now 20 days my claim is on But case Handler Luke said it can take years for me for the claim to be fulfilled.I still not understand why for me it can take years.

When I lost my Phone I ask one stranger on a road"Can I please use your phone to Make one quick call to let my network provider know that I lost my phone" and it was kind from stranger he gave me his to Make a call.

So now after 20 days Insurance case handler Luke send me a small email that "I should go and find that stranger and ask him to give u statement of all his outgoing calls"

otherwise claim aim will go no further...

Please don't tell me this is for real
