Hi
I know this has been answered before but it was a while ago and I don't want to be putting random codes in as it didn't say what device it is for.
How can I maximise the time my s7 edge rings for.
I believe it is preset at 15 seconds
But the post says you can make it up to 30 seconds in 5 second intervals.
So that's were the post lost me.
It sounds like you have got to keep putting the code in until it reaches maximum number of rings
Does any one have the correct info to do this on a s7 edge please.

Hi @SKYMAN513, you're able to do this by entering **61*121*11*. This is followed by #, then press 'Call'.
For example, when changing this to 30 seconds it would be **61*121*11*30#.
You can find more information on this here.

Hi thanks for reply
When I type in the code **61*121*11*30#
It says mmi code sent and then I get the message of which I have put in a screen shot at the bottom.
I did try a few times but each time was the same out come
I am not sure if that has activated
Is that the correct message I should be seeing on entering the code
For some reason when I go to view the video in your link, so I could be sure, it says video unavailable
Thanks

Hi @SKYMAN513, thanks for getting back to us :smileyhappy:
It seems that this hasn't activated.
To ensure that the action is carried out when sending the code, please add a comma at the end of it (this would be **61*121*11*30#,).
If you're still experiencing issues with this after completing this step, please complete the following steps:
- Go to Settings in your phone.
- Select 'Network Connection', then 'Mobile Networks'.
- Go into 'Network Operators' and select a different network provider, then select Vodafone.
- Try this step for 3-4 attempts to test if this resolves the issue.
Please keep us updated with this.

Hi
Just for clarity
I am supposed to do this from the phone keypad aren't I.?
And treat it as a phone call and not a text message.
As I can not find a way to insert a comma on the end of the code.
Thanks

Hi
I went into settings and and then connections
Then emombile networks
Then search for all available networks
And the little blue circle on my device (s7 edge I have a dark theme) in the top right just keeps spinning so I stopped it after a minute
But I have tried the steps you have mentioned a few times just to be sure I have done it as you say and still get same message as in my screen shot
Thanks

Thanks for updating us @SKYMAN513!
Before entering the code, please restart the phone to ensure that this updates, now you've completed these steps.
If you're still experiencing issues, please test the following steps here and let us know how you get on.

DHi thanks for reply
In your previous posts you mentioned inserting a comma after the code.
I have an s7 edge and I can not find a way to insert one on the end.
So if that's possible how can I do that as,that is one option I have not been able to try
Regarding the reset I tried that before I posted and have even wiped cache partition.
As I know that can cure a lot of minor issues and little bugs
Thanks sorry for banging on about this, but could really use a bit more ring time.
EDIT
Just tried again just to be sure
Screen shot attached at bottom
EDIT
As I can not find a way to put a comma the only other option was in your link and it was to put a plus sign after the * but as there are five and the hash in the code I'm not prepared to start putting random codes in.
So I'll call in store today and just quadruple check that i am doing it correctly.
