I picked a new sim up today as mine was pretty screwed. the SS worked with my number until about 6pm now it's not picking it up.
tried to change owner number to remove and re-add but it didn't work. Keeps telling me there are technical issues and to try again. "Sorry, we're having a technical problem at the moment. Please try again in a few minutes."
Could someone please try a resync of the SS for me pretty please.
The SS Number is 21230051233
Many thanks
Paul

Hi ultraenigma
Thanks for your post. Usually when there has been a SIM change for a mobile number the best way to make sure that your number connects is similar to what Jimmy56 has done and remove the number from your Sure Signal via the Sure Signal dashboard on My Account and then re-adding it.
I've performed a resync for you now. To complete the process your Sure Signal will require a factory reset as follows:
If you still can't connect your new SIM then try the method above and let us know how you get on.
Thanks
Simon

Hi have just changed handsets and as such have a new nano sim for my iPhone 5.
Unfortunetly, my home Suresignal V1 unit is not recognising the new sim and hence not allowing me to connect with 3G.
I have tried the recommended steps for a factory reset on the unit but this is not working.
Similar issues on the forum seem to suggest that a vodafone re-sync is required so I would ask if you could please do this.
SS S/N is 21196807545

Hi folks,
Ashley-S - Removing the number of the dashboard and re-adding it an hour later as Simon mentioned is the quickest way to sort this in future. I've pushed a synchronisation through all the same so just reset your unit to complete the action this time.
KPG - I've pushed a resynchronisation through. Can you also reset your unit to complete the action?
Just in case either of you aren't sure how to do a reset:
Cheers, Ben
